Miscellaneous > Hornby Dublo / Triang

Hornby Dublo, a part of the Meccano empire in Liverpool, made OO scale model trains from 1938 to 1964. Dublo trains and accessories were collected by many children (and adults) in Britain in the 1950's and early 1960's although Meccano also had a decent export trade in these models, especially to Commonwealth countries such as Australia and Canada, but also to places such as Argentina!

Both 2-rail and 3-rail models are still collected today, although no longer by children, unless second childhood adults can be counted as such.

We have Hornby Dublo items passing through the station from time to time and will bring a selection of items to your attention, through this particular page of our site.

Although some may consider it sacrilege, we will also list Triang items on this page as there is also a good collector market for models from the Triang ranges, both OO and TT.

If you have Dublo or Triang items you wish to dispose of, please contact us for details of our consignment service.
